Due to continuous growth and project wins, the Winslow Constructors team has  career opportunities available for Graduate Labourers to join our South Australia Team

 THE ROLE

In this hands-on role as a Graduate Labourer , you will be required to:

  • Assist with general clean and tidy-up of site/site shed including removal of rubbish, debris and excess materials and sweeping
  • Assist with the unloading of various materials from delivery vehicles requiring lifting, moving, handling and stacking a wide range of building materials
  • Digging trenches, pits and similar, shovelling soil, rubble and concrete and using a crowbar
  • Monitoring of site gates/temporary fencing (lifting and erecting fencing)
  • Lay and remove temporary protective coverings
  • Assist with the implementation of trenching shields
  • Supporting the foreman and leading hands in site audits and site inductions

Winslow offers a two-year graduate program for Graduates, designed to provide you with broad experience across a range of different disciplines in the civil construction industry. Our Graduates will have opportunities to develop and grow their knowledge and skills across Civil Engineering & Surveying

You will be provided with a unique opportunity to develop into a well-rounded construction professional that will lay the foundation and position you for future technical or leadership roles upon the completion of the program. ABOUT YOU

  • A degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience with earthworks, roads, pavement, structures and civil infrastructure preferable.
  • Experience in working with authorities such as local councils and service authorities preferable
  • Excellent client relationship management
  • Excellent rapport with subcontractors
  • Contract management experience desirable
  • Excellent people management skills
