Due to continuous growth and project wins, Winslow has  career opportunities available for an Experienced Leading Hand to join our team in Adelaide

 

THE ROLE

 

In this hands on role as a Leading Hand, you will be required to:

  • Forecasting and programming
  • Procurement and scheduling of labour, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
  • Efficient and economic use of resources
  • Effective leadership of the construction team
  • Administration work including timesheets, delivery dockets and site diary
  • Start up and toolbox meetings
  • Site inductions and checking of tickets
  • Mitigating and reporting all incidents
  • Auditing and reporting

 

 ABOUT YOU

 

  • Be physically fit
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Can pass a drug and alcohol test ( We have a  ZERO Tolerance to drugs on ALL of our sites, projects and offices )
  • Have a Construction Industry Card ( White Card )
  • Ideally you will have Plant tickets, an HR licence and appropriate experience
  • Solid experience within Civil Construction
  • Experience in the following is highly regarded – Bulk Earth Works, Design Earthworks and/or Wetlands Earthworks, subdivisions & pipe laying
  •  MUST have a valid drivers licence
