About the role:

• Laying and aligning pipes according to plans and specifications.
• Excavating and preparing trenches for pipe installations.
• Operating hand tools to cut, shape, and join pipes.
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure proper installation.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety standards.
• Collaborating with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time.

About you:

• Previous experience as a Pipe Layer/ Pit Builder within the civil construction industry.
• Strong understanding of pipe-laying techniques and construction drawings.
• Ability to operate relevant tools and machinery.
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A General Construction Induction card (white card)
• A valid driver’s licence
• Relevant industry certifications including but not limited to Certificate III in Pipe Layer, Dogman ticket
• Knowledge/experience in manhole and pit construction
• PE, PVC and DICL accreditations
