The Opportunity..

We are seeking a dedicated Training and Development Assessor to join the Winslow Infrastructure team.

Based on Project sites around Queensland, the Training and Development Assessor will continuously improve Winslow’s safety procedures by being directly responsible for the training and development of site based machinery operators within the Winslow Group and upholding the safety, care and maintenance of plant and maximising productivity and utilisation.

Interviewing and assessing of potential new operators, supporting induction of new operators, assess internal VOC’s & grow and develop of KPI culture within the company

About You..

• Support the induction of all new machine operators
• Assess internal employee’s competency to operate plant and equipment (Verification of Competency - VOC)
• Conduct training and assessments on all current and potential employees.
• Identify potential new operators and commence training programs and complete authority to train form.
• Support various apprenticeship and traineeship programs.
• Ensure identification of current and future operational training needs for the company.
• Train and educate foreman in regards to machine operation and utilisation.
• Conduct safety audits on a regular basis
• Incident investigation relating to machine operation and safety breaches.
• Active promotion of safety on site.

Key Experience..

• Certificate IV in training and assessing
• Industry experience working on various machines in civil works i.e bulk earthworks, pavement construction
• Assessor, auditor, trainer, machine operations tickets, GPS, computer and white card.
• Knowledge of OH&S regulations.
• Focused on health and safety in their work

Prerequisites...

• White card
• Drivers licence
• Various machine tickets
• 15+ years civil construction experience
