Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity:
Due to continual growth across our business, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our business. You will manage the day-to-day operations of a specific project or a division of clients regarding field teams and services.
A typical week as a Senior Project Manager:
- Overseeing the daily group services requirements including field services, sub-contractor and other services
- Overseeing, consulting and problem solving with Clients, Planners and support staff on all projects
- Project Managing the daily operations in conjunction with supporting management
- Managing external suppliers and raising purchase orders within limits of authority, accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct and control site inspections, audits and third party safety audits to ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met
- Liaise with statutory bodies (DOT, MRVP, Council) as required
- Liaise with client and planning team regarding TG’s, MOA’s and RSA’s including confirmation of RSA close outs
- Consult and problem solve with Engineers, Designers and Operational team (Client) regarding desired planning for the project
- Manage other project managers within the division, including annual leave and mentoring
- Monitor the BMS implementation
- Support Operation Managers in their absence
Here’s what we are looking for…
A person with strong leadership experience managing a diverse team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience within the Civil industry and wanting to become part of an expanding, inclusive and team focused business.
They must:
- Have a Diploma in Project Management (highly desired)
- Have a Construction Induction Card (CPCCWHS1001A)
- Hold a current Australian Drivers License
- Have knowledge of Traffic Control including consultation, planning, implementation and review
- Have general knowledge in road construction, timeframes and procedures
- Have relevant understanding and knowledge of the Australian standards & Codes of Practice
- Have knowledge or experience in traffic services such as traffic control, line marking, barriers, NDD, saw cutting, spotters and permanent signage installation/removal
- Have a strong safety focused approach to delivering work and sound knowledge of WH&S
- Have the ability to lead, develop and manage a team
- Have excellent leadership and people management skills
- Have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to demonstrate ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
- Be outcomes focused and have the ability plan and keep organised
