Due to continuous growth and project wins, Winslow has a career opportunity available for an experienced Payroll Officer to support our Finance Team

 

THE ROLE

 

In this hands-on role as the Payroll Officer, you will be required to:

  • Processing end to end fortnightly payroll for wages and salary personnel
  • Onboarding and ensuring correct authorisation of new personnel on the payroll and comprehensive tax documentation is prepared
  • Maintaining employee records including updating of rates, classifications, and employee master data
  • Reconciling payroll runs and reporting on results
  • Liaising with employees of payroll related queries
  • Month-end processing and reporting across Superannuation payments, Payroll tax lodgement, LSL lodgement, PAYG-W payment, payroll lodgement
  • Processing of termination and redundancy calculations and payments as required
  • Creating bank file for payment processing
  • Processing expense reimbursements
  • Maintaining and supporting electronic timesheet software

ABOUT YOU

 

  • End to end payroll experience within a large organisation
  • Exposure to reconciling payroll ledgers, setting up of new employees and processing terminations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer focused work ethic and deadline driven
  • Excellent IT and system skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Experience with Timberline or SAP is highly advantageous
