The Opportunity:
As Trafman continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in traffic management to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued success of our rapidly expanding business.

- Oversee traffic resourcing to meet project requirements
- Ordering stock ordering from approved suppliers with approved price lists.
- Sourcing and negotiating stock ordering in conjunction with procurement manager
- Oversee the booking of traffic equipment from internal supply
- Oversee the booking of traffic equipment from external suppliers and raise purchase orders within limits of authority, accurately and in a timely fashion
- Oversee project bookings with clients
- Oversee the rostering of Equipment, Traffic Controllers, Installers, and Saw and Core.
- Provide training and guidance to field staff
- Perform and submit project audits on the systems provided
- Asset management
- Other duties assigned by the Construction Traffic Manager or Business Manager
Here’s what we are looking for…
A person with Traffic experience that is wanting to become part of an expanding, inclusive and team focussed business.
They must:
- Hold relevant traffic control tickets: RIIWHS205D & RIIWHS302D
- White Card – Construction Industry
- Solid knowledge in Traffic Control, Traffic Equipment and Products and Traffic Procedures
- Understanding general road construction, timeframes and procedures
- Must have problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities
- Working knowledge of occupational safety and health practices in traffic control
- Working knowledge of occupation health and safety practices in a road maintenance environment
- Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
- Be outcomes focused and have the ability plan and keep organised
