Trafman is a multi-divisional, civil construction company looking to add to its long-term employees with vacancies within our 'Lines and Signs' division. Our main purpose is to implement semi- permanent & permanent signage and barriers across various civil projects from sub-division through to infrastructure.

Daily tasks will vary from erecting and installing a broad range of temporary and permanent signage. Installation of externally mounted signs, installation and removal of safety barriers and temporary signage. Some manual digging of post holes and concreting will be required project to project.

DUTIES

• Provide effective installation of signage to ensure that the construction team produces quality work to the required standard.
• Ensure that the required paperwork is completed in relation to Signage Installation on site.
• To ensure that safe working practices and policies are adhered to and of the use of Personal Protective Equipment as provided.
• Be able to read and understand signage plans.
• Provide feedback to the foreman & operations leading hand in relation to the progress of projects. To also be able to report any problems encountered.
• Barrier Placement- ensure Installation of Barriers in accordance with the approved TMP and must be installed as per manufacturer's specifications.
• Implementation of appropriate signage must reflect the approved traffic management plan.

ABOUT YOU

• You will need a basic understanding of plans
• Be able to use hand and power tools
• Have an understanding of basic road safety regulations, including road maintenance
• Be able to maintain and store tool and equipment safely and correctly
• Be physically fit and pass a pre-employment medical
• Construction Induction Card (white card)
• Driver’s licence and clean driving record as this role will require the operation of company vehicles
• Traffic Control Tickets 
• Forklift Licence (highly desired)
