THE ROLE:
Our Winslow Maintenance division specialises in the maintenance and servicing of all earthmoving machinery and stationary engines. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for workshop and ‘on-site’ servicing, diagnosing and repair works. You will be working primarily on Caterpillar models, but also brands from Volvo, Komatsu & Hitachi.
- Conducting service and diagnostic activities across a range of earthmoving equipment,
- Complete on-site repairs, inclusive of completing tasks in a timely manner and to a very high standard,
- Complete workshop repairs and component rebuilds in our fully equipped workshop located in Rocklea.
ABOUT YOU:
It is a requirement of the job that you be a qualified diesel mechanic or diesel technician and you have experience working on earthmoving equipment. You must also have a high attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment. Your ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment, display a positive & self-motivated attitude and be able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills will have you well suited to this rewarding and exciting position.
- Be physically fit,
- Can pass a drug and alcohol test,
- Have a Construction Industry Card (White Card),
- Travel is required, MUST be willing to travel to and from projects,
- Immediate start!
You must also have a high attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment. Your ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment, display a positive & self-motivated attitude and be able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills will have you well suited to this rewarding and exciting position.
